Where evidence, policy and implementation meet.
We synthesise what is known, translate it into a form decision-makers can use, convene the people who have to act on it, and record what follows. Our work is organised around three themes.
Health Sovereignty
Africa's ability to define, finance, govern and sustain its own health priorities, driven by African-led solutions rather than excessive dependence on external actors.
Sovereignty is not a slogan here. It is a set of concrete questions about who pays, who decides, who manufactures, and who holds the data. We work on the policy and institutional conditions that make African ownership of health systems practical rather than aspirational.

The Post-SDG Health Agenda
The SDG era is ending. Africa needs to shape what replaces it, rather than respond to it once it is already written.
The next generation of global health priorities is being negotiated now. We work to ensure African realities and African evidence are central to that agenda rather than consulted late, and that whatever succeeds the SDGs is designed with implementation in mind from the start.

The Future of Health Systems
Technology, climate change and changing population needs are reshaping health systems faster than policy is adapting.
Digital tools, artificial intelligence and climate pressure are already changing how care is delivered. We examine what these shifts require of health systems, and what it takes to build systems that are resilient and adaptive rather than merely upgraded.

From theme to output
Each theme runs through the same cycle.
We identify where a decision is approaching, synthesise the evidence, publish it in a form that can be used, and convene the people who need to act. Each dialogue produces outputs and agreed follow-up actions, both published.
