Dialogue

Dialogue on climate change and health

A dialogue on how climate change is reshaping health systems in Ghana and across Africa, and what policy and institutional responses the evidence supports.

About this dialogue

Climate change is already changing how health systems must operate, from the pattern of disease to the resilience of facilities and supply chains. Policy has been slower to adapt than the evidence warrants.

This dialogue brings together policymakers, researchers and practitioners around the practical questions: what climate change means for service delivery, what it requires of health financing and planning, and where the responsibility for coordination sits across government.

As with all AHeD engagements, it is designed to produce clear outputs, including a synthesis of the discussion and a published record of agreed follow-up actions.
